Preventing the Development of Diabetes – Early Warning Symptoms!

At present, diabetes is known as one of the health killers apart from other major diseases. In fact, this is a pressing concern, as the prevalence rate has increased. For that matter, specialists constantly highlight new research evidence to educate individuals. However, individuals don’t seem to understand the gravity of this issue.   • Constant hunger and tiredness

 

One of the most visible signs of diabetes is increased hunger, even after having a meal a while ago. While extreme fatigue is a symptom of thyroid issues, this shouldn’t be ignored too. The reason being that the body’s insulin production has reduced. Therefore, it doesn’t allow the glucose to enter the cell to provide needed energy. As a fact, an individual would feel fatigued and have the need to eat more and more.

 

  • Numb feet or toes

 

On the other hand, another symptom that you should watch out for is numbing of feet or toes. Due to this dreadful disease, it damages the nerves. The reason for it is, because there’s reduced blood flow due to high levels of blood sugar. This in turn, affects the body’s ability to heal wounds faster than usual.  Hence, if you feel constant tingling sensations, be careful.

 

  • Frequent runs to the washroom

 

On average an individual would require to urinate about four to seven times a day. But, due to the excess blood sugar levels in the body, the body disposes it through urination. Since, the body cannot reabsorb glucose, there’s a tendency to use the washroom more. As a result, an individual would also drink a lot of water to recover the lost body fluids.

If you notice any of these symptoms in you or your family member, be alert of it. It might not necessarily mean that it’s diabetes. However, you should never take a risk of ignoring such signs, as the situation could get worse. With that said, there are many things that you should be aware of. Hence, it’s always best to go for regular health check-ups to rule out any serious illness.
