These diabetic sugar cookies are tasty and easy to make, you don’t have to be a master chef to cook them. In our daily life, we frost them, sprinkle them and really make it a family craft. Sugar cookies are the best for holiday when the whole family flies back to your house. So, start baking now with this delicious Almond Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

5 tbsps…. margarine
1 ½ tbsps…. sugar
1 tbsps.. egg white
¼ tsp. almond extract
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. planning soda
tartar cream, just a pinch
32 slidec almond

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
In a medium dish, cream margarine and sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Stir in egg white and almond extract.
Steadily add flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar; mix them well.
Form into 1/2-inch balls. Place on a non-stick cookie sheet at least 2 inches apart.
Dip a glass into flour and press down on each ball to flatten cookie. Top each cookie with an almond slice.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on pan for 3 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely
