Antioxidants Exacerbates Diabetes
Antioxidants are substances known as an antidote to all kinds of diseases. But this is not true for diabetics. Researchers from Australia found that consumption of antioxidant supplements aggravate the risk of diabetes.
Antioxidants are bioactive compounds that serve to ward off free radicals cause several diseases such as cancer. Consumers believe that taking antioxidants, the body will be spared from the disease. But apparently the researchers found the opposite.
