Tai Chi Prevents Diabetes
Beside go on a diabetes diet, it turns out that Tai Chi provides significant benefits for people with type two diabetes especially in controlling their health condition.
There are at least two separate studies that show clear evidence that Tai Chi exercise program for 12 weeks is enough to boost the immune system and lowers blood sugar levels for people with diabetes. This traditional martial art from China has a unique movement that combines that combines breathing and gentle movements to enhance relaxation.
Two research conducted by experts in Taiwan and Australia was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
The first research conducted in Taiwan compared 30 patients with diabetes with 30 healthy people. During 12 weeks, all participants learned 37 Tai Chi movements under the direction of a instructor. Exercise for Diabetics, Not Everything is Good
Diabetes and exercise always go side by side. However, not all types of exercise can help people with diabetes. Under certain conditions, people with diabetes are also prohibited from particular exercises. In particular, exericises which invite the risk of injury such as exercise that causes retinal bleeding to death.
It is suggested to choose appropriate exercise for diabetics. Diabetics are advised to avoid exercise that invites the risk of injury, such as weight lifting.
